Background and Purpose

The Andrea Naomi Leiderman Fellowship is designed to support a student conducting research on a topic relating to the education of children and youth, particularly in local, under-served communities of Northern California. This fellowship honors Andrea Naomi Leiderman's 

Program Requirements

The International Public Service Fellow commits to 12 months of full-time work in a host national or international non-governmental organization (NGO), intergovernmental or national governmental agency located in a country not included on the State Department’s Travel Advisory list. The fellow must also commit to the following program requirements:

Eligibility
To be eligible for a International Public Service Fellowship, you must be a graduating senior or coterm at Stanford University. Applicants are encouraged from any major field of study and from a wide variety of service experiences.

Background and Purpose

In the spring of 2008, the Haas Center and the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI) external linkpartnered to establish a pilot project and launch our first post-graduate international service fellow program.
