Undergraduate Fellowships

Undergraduate fellowships offer support for Stanford students who wish to make contributions to public service organizations and communities. Depending on the fellowship, summer and year-long fellows can participate in either pre-arranged placements or self-designed fellowship opportunities in both domestic and international settings.

The Haas Center Fellowships Program is a service-learning program in which students apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting. Program staff offer a two-unit field preparatory course, workshops, and individual consultations to prepare students for their summer work. Upon their return, students meet with staff to debrief, reflect on their experiences, and consider follow-up activities and coursework.

To learn about both summer and year-long undergraduate fellowships use the Undergraduate Fellowships Guide.

Note: If you are a graduating senior, you are eligible for both undergraduate fellowships and postgraduate fellowship opportunities.
