If you are a graduating senior or co-term and are interested in pursuing a career in public service, consider applying for a postgraduate fellowship. Postgraduate fellowships provide a fulltime, paid and mentored experience in an organization with a mission to serve the public good with principal offices in the United States. Successful applicants have excellent academic and leadership records and a commitment to public service. All academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Selected fellows serve as ambassadors of Stanford and the Haas Center to public and nonprofit agencies across the United States, serving domestic and international needs. Graduating seniors and co-terms are eligible for all awards. You must be graduating this academic year, and may not apply if you are stopped out.
You may apply for more than one or all four programs if you are able to articulate a compelling and distinct reason why each program fits your goals and future plans. The applications must be customized accordingly, i.e. do not submit essentially identical applications for different opportunities. You may be a finalist for multiple fellowships but must be prepared to choose one. Fellowships may not be used to support or start organizations or companies.
Individual fellowship pages contain complete program descriptions, fellowship histories, and details on how to apply.
