Giving to the Haas Center

The Stanford ChallengePlease consider supporting our work. The Haas Center welcomes and values all donations, large and small; multiyear and annual; expendable and endowed. You can make a gift of cash or securities; buy a brick for the Ford Courtyard engraved with your message; or purchase one or more books for our preK-12 programs. The Haas Center's fundraising goals are included in The Stanford Challenge, a 5-year, university-wide campaign.

Your gift will enable a Stanford student to:

  • intern in a local nonprofit
  • work with a young struggling reader
  • coach a discouraged teen to strive for college
  • work on climate change in state government
  • research economic policy in a federal agency
  • wrestle with the stark realities of educational inequity
  • build a program in a community-based organization in sub-Saharan Africa
  • develop new technology for use in the developing world
  • write an honors thesis on microfinance and women’s empowerment

You can also help support Stanford faculty to:

  • plan and offer service-learning courses
  • work with community and government agencies to solve local problems,
  • mentor students as they prepare for summer or postgraduate fellowships
  • sponsor student research in the public interest
  • learn about the power of experiential learning
