Jon supervises many of the program staff at the center and advises Stanford’s nationally recognized Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program. During his 11 years at the Haas Center, Jon has been involved with a majority of the center’s programs and was involved in launching the Public Service Leadership Fellows, Justice Corps, and Impact Abroad programs. At the 2008 commencement, Jon was recognized with the Lloyd W. Dinkelspiel Award for distinctive contributions to undergraduate education.

Jon's value of and commitment to service learning has guided his career path and led him to the Haas Center. Prior to joining the Haas Center team, he directed a national service and learning fellowship program through the Congressional Hunger Center in Washington, DC. Prior to that experience, he worked for 10 years in student services at several colleges in Southern California. Combining service and travel is Jon's other passion, and he has had the opportunity to lead several service projects overseas and coordinate a summer service program. Beyond his work and travel pursuits, Jon is an avid Stanford basketball and volleyball fan. Go Card!
