The PSSAB consists of both undergraduate and graduate students, appointed by invitation of the Haas Center Director. Like the NAB and the Faculty Steering Committee, the PSSAB serves in an advisory capacity to the director and staff, meeting quarterly for program-based briefings and evaluative discussions. The results of their deliberations are shared with the FSC and NAB and incorporated into policy recommendations.
PSSAB first met at the start of fall quarter 2001 to serve in an advisory capacity to the Haas director. PSSAB is a more broadly based successor to the Haas Unifying Board (HUB) founded in 1995, and part of a tradition of integrating student voice into decision-making at the center that dates from its founding.
