Joining a student service organization is an easy way for students to get involved with service at Stanford. With more than 100 public service organizations on campus, students work toward social justice on a broad range of issues through direct service, activism, advocacy, politics/policy, philanthropy, research, and social entrepreneurship.
The Service Organization Leadership Program (SOLP) provides advising, training, funding, and other resources to recognized Stanford student organizations to promote effective service, positive personal interactions, and a physical space that contributes to the building of community. These resources are provided by the Haas Center to foster community among student organizations engaged in diverse service efforts on or off-campus and to provide resources that enhance both the quality of students' service and the learning derived from it.
