SUMMER QUARTER

July 23 (Fri, 5:00 p.m.) Term withdrawal deadline; last day to submit Leave of Absence to withdraw from the University with a partial refund. See Tuition Refund Schedule, 2009-2010 for a full refund schedule.

July 30 (Fri, 5:00 p.m.) Change of grading basis deadline and Course withdrawal deadline.

July 30 (Fri, 5:00 p.m.) Application deadline for Summer Quarter degree conferral.

August 7-12 (Sat-Thu) End-Quarter Period.

August 12 (Thu) Last day of classes.

August 12 (Thu, 5:00 p.m.) Late application deadline for Summer Quarter degree conferral ($50 fee).

August 13-14 (Fri-Sat) End-Quarter examinations.

August 17 (Tue) Grades due at 11:59 p.m.

August 27 (Fri, noon) University thesis, D.M.A. final project, or Ph.D. dissertation, last day to submit.

Summer Quarter Enrollment

Enrollment is now open for Summer Quarter classes. See ExploreCourses to browse and search for classes; enroll for classes on Axess.

The Stanford Bulletin

Stanford's online official statement of University and degree requirements. See the Bulletin's ExploreCourses site for a complete course catalog and schedule of classes, updated daily. Courses and degree requirements for AY 2010-11 will be released on August 1.

Summer Quarter Dissertation Deadlines

The University thesis, D.M.A. project, or PhD Dissertation deadline has been moved back by two weeks to Friday, August 27 at noon.
