Jennifer Calvert.

Jennifer J. Calvert is the chief of staff and assistant vice provost for strategy in the Office of the Vice Provost for Student Affairs.

Jenn completed her bachelor's degree in English and her Master’s of Education in Counseling at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

She worked as a high school English as a second and/or foreign language teacher before moving to Hanover, New Hampshire, to accept a position at Dartmouth College. At Dartmouth, she served in Health Education, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and Residential Education. She later moved to Philadelphia to work at Drexel University, where she lead the residential program. While at Drexel, she completed her PhD in Educational Leadership and Learning Technologies. Her research focused on how leaders in Student Affairs units use data to drive decision-making.

In 2010, Jennifer moved to California to serve as an associate dean of Residential Education at Stanford University. In 2016, she started working in the vice provost's office, overseeing the execution of large-scale divisional and university initiatives. She and her husband serve as the resident fellows for Schiff House, an all first-year Stanford student residence.
