Though the process and steps are unique for each individual, our aim is to provide a holistic lens of well-being and the tools necessary for our students to experience a sense of belonging, self-acceptance, authentic relationships, accomplishment and competence, positive emotions, and purpose and meaning at Stanford and beyond.

This wellness checklist was created to guide students as they prepared logistically and emotionally to their transition to the Stanford campus during the pandemic. Stanford mental health and well-being resources are shared on the other side of the handout to help students find additional support.

This article showcases a new website created by Student Affairs staff members to explore what it means to feel isolated versus connected, and offers resources for dealing with feelings of loneliness.
#ThoughtfulThursdays Social Media Campaign
In order to expand our reach of public health preventive measures to keep students safe and healthy, reinforce student expectations while residing on campus, and offer support and connection to students during this time, we developed social media postings with graphically pleasing and informative messages which were shared by campus partners through their Instagram handles.
#ThoughtfulThursdays social media postings contained supportive messages for students while connecting them to campus resources during this time such as: how to identify and combat loneliness, managing grief and loss due to COVID-19, tips to improve sleep hygiene, etc. A sample of our #ThoughtfulThursday social media postings are highlighted below.
