Come and hear from Sam Feinburg, COO and Executive Director, about Helena, a new engine of innovation to solve the world's most pressing problems.  Learn how you can get involved through Cardinal Quarter and Cardinal Careers fellowships. 

Started in a Yale dorm room, Helena seeks to bring together some of the world’s most remarkable people and work alongside them to materialize ideas that build a better tomorrow.  Helena operates projects around the world that focus on addressing issues of global importance and creating innovations that yield significant positive impact.  Stanford faculty are involved in a number of Helena's initiatives. Current projects include:

  • Factory in the Sky – development and construction of the world's first carbon capture factory
  • The Shield Project – protecting the electrical grid from threats both foreign and domestic
