Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up for meal deliveries if I am isolating in place on campus?

In order to receive meal deliveries while in isolation, students must complete the COVID-19 Isolation Student Information Form. This form is for students permitted to isolate in their rooms. After submitting this form, R&DE Stanford Dining will coordinate with you to set up meal delivery.

I do not have a microwave or refrigerator in my residence where I am isolating, will I receive hot meals?

If you do not have access to a microwave or refrigerator in your residence we will deliver a hot meal for lunch and dinner. A continental breakfast that does not require refrigeration will be provided with your dinner meal for the following morning.

What if I miss the meal delivery order cutoff but I need food before the next meal period?

If you are placed in isolation after the meal order cutoff for lunch (10:30 a.m.) or dinner (5:00 p.m.) you will automatically receive a cold box meal for your first meal. If the meal is during dinner, a continental breakfast will also be provided and delivered with the dinner box meal.

Can I get other meal deliveries (i.e. Uber Eats) while isolating in place?

Uber Eats and other third-party meal delivery services are not available to students isolating in undergraduate residences or high-rise apartment rooms without street-facing doors, as delivery drivers are not allowed to enter into these buildings.
