New Director for Human Resources, Chetiqua Matthews

I’m delighted to inform you that our new Director for Human Resources, Chetiqua Matthews, will join us in VPSA Central on November 11, 2024. I’m so thankful for the work of the search panel members and the search chair, Richard Webber, in bringing Chetiqua to us. We could not have completed this recruitment without them.
More About Chetiqua
Chetiqua comes to us from the University of Houston – Downtown where she has served as Director of Talent Acquisition and Management and Employee Relations since 2017. In this role, she has overseen all activities and projects related to the recruitment, retention, training, performance management, and employee relations functions of the campus. Previously, she led the Human Resource department at Florida International University’s Biscayne Bay Campus. Chetiqua holds a Master’s of Science in Employment Law as well as a Master’s of Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
