Qitong “Thomas” Cao, who is earning a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s in management science and engineering, will represent China as an international Rhodes Scholar next year. He joins four other Stanford affiliates who won 2018  Rhodes Scholarships.

Ted Koppel, longtime anchor of ABC News’ Nightline, who earned his master’s degree at Stanford in 1962, will visit the university during winter and spring quarters as the Haas Center’s 2018 Mimi and Peter E. Haas Distinguished Visitor.
