Committee of 12
The Committee of 12 (C-12) — composed of students, faculty, instructors, and staff — was charged with examining the Honor Code, Judicial Charter and Process, and interpretations of the Fundamental Standard, and then developing recommendations, updates, and revisions to these policies and documents. The committee has submitted its proposals as required, and has concluded its work.
Proposed Revisions for Review
In April 2023, C-12 announced its proposed revisions in accordance with the Committee’s charge. Students, faculty, and instructors were encouraged to review these proposed updates and share their thoughts with their respective voting representatives in the Undergraduate Senate, Graduate Student Council, or Faculty Senate (those who did not know their Faculty Senate representative contacted Adrienne Emory for more information).
